 The Daylesford Rotary Club and Art in the Community

  • We are keen to be involved & to be a leader in the Arts & Culture of our community
  • The Rotary Club of Daylesford has injected new life into a project, 24 yrs running by Daylesford Lions club.
  • We are encouraging understanding of and participation in Visual Art AND have captured the important CUP WEEKEND in Daylesford.

 

What work is involved?
 
A core team of approx. 5 Rotarians + 5 Artists who plan & supervise & co-ordinate
A fundraising team of 3 Rotarians to handle sponsorships, advertising, the raffle, signage
A maintenance team of 5+ Rotarians to make, repair & maintain screens & lighting – We need 20 new screens this year plus all screens painted plus lighting fitted
All Rotarians provide help with promotion – encouraging artists, distributing promotion & entry materials, bringing friends to the Opening and the Show, purchasing paintings, selling raffle tickets, thinking about improvements for the following year
  • Artists entering – 250 entries
  • Sponsorships - $1,000
  •  Award Sponsorships - $3,000
  • Advertising donations - $1,000
  • Attendance (gold coin donation), bring a friend.
